The Harbour in Gorleston-on-Sea near Great Yarmouth is just a short level walk from the beautiful Gorleston beach. Our newly refurbished guest lounge with balcony looks out over boats coming in and out of the harbour and rooms to the front have a waterfront view too.
Superbly situated for the Broads, Norfolk and Suffolk coastlines, with all the attractions of Great Yarmouth nearby, Gorleston-on-Sea is an unspoilt hidden gem, ideal for families, couples, and those wanting a beautiful beach on your doorstep, plenty to do nearby but just that bit quieter and more relaxed.
Offering clean and comfortable room only accommodation, we have a few guest rooms consisting of doubles and family rooms, all ensuite, with tv and tea/coffee making facilities, free wifi and a large guest lounge area on the first floor.
By Road:Norfolk is easily accessible by road from all parts of the UK. Major trunk roads into Norfolk are the M11, A11, A12 and the A14 from London and the South-east, while the A47 and A14 serve the Midlands and the North. On approaching Great Yarmouth turn right at the roundabout and follow signs for Gorleston. Heading for the Pier and Quay Road, The Harbour is situated on Pavilion Road by the lighthouse. There's plenty of free public parking available.By Public Transport:A number of bus operators provide services to the local area including National Express and First Bus. A local bus or taxi will be needed for the short journey from Great Yarmouth to Gorleston-on-Sea.By Rail:There is a regular local service from Norwich to Great Yarmouth. With connecting trains from Norwich to London, Liverpool Street. Peterborough, Cambridge and Ely. A local bus or taxi will be needed for the short journey from Great Yarmouth Station to Gorleston-on-Sea.
