The club itself dating back to 1882, the course is partially surrounded by the Great Yarmouth Racecourse. The chalet gardens adjoin the 16th Tee, other local courses include Royal Norwich, Royal North West Norfolk, Sheringham, Cromer and Hunstanton.
If you wish to do some Sea Fishing you only have to stroll 300yds, across the sand dunes to the unspoilt Norfolk coast. If it is Fresh Water Fishing you are after, then the beautiful Norfolk Broads are only 10 minutes away, this area is renowned for its very large pike! The nearby Broads offer an opportunity to hire a boat by the hour or on a daily basis. Peace at a leisurely pace.

Major trunk roads into Norfolk are the M11, A11, A12 and the A14 from London and the South-east, while the A47 and A14 serve the Midlands and the North. From Great Yarmouth follow the A149 to Caister on Sea.By Public Transport:A number of bus operators provide services to the local area including National Express and First Bus. From Caister-on-Sea bus stop 300yds away. Buses go every 15 minutes to Great Yarmouth which is 15 minutes away.By Rail:There is a regular local service from Norwich to Great Yarmouth. With connecting trains from Norwich to London, Liverpool Street. Peterborough, Cambridge and Ely.
