Yet it is just out of the area of holiday camps, chalets and the amusements. Great Yarmouth is just a ten minute drive away. The Broads are right on your doorstep for boating and fishing.
You can hire boats and fish from the river banks at Martham, three miles away. Potter Heigham Bridge is six miles away and a favourite for boat hire, Horning and Wroxham are within easy reach. The fine city of Norwich is only 20 miles away and the rest of North Norfolk is within easy reach for an ideal day out in your car, over quiet country lanes all around the coastline. It is a completely unspoilt part of the country.
Parklands has special appeal - 14 large detached bungalows, generously spaced, set in four acres of beautiful quiet parkland away from traffic noise. Your children can enjoy our large play area and recreation field and people of all ages will love our miniature railway. We are also the ideal choice for pet lovers and your dog will always be made welcome. We are always improving and refurbishing. There is extra heating and double glazing for your comfort, modern kitchens, with a fridge/freezer and microwave. All bungalows have the comfort of a three piece suite.
Parklands is in the village centre and is just a few minutes walk from a well-stocked Spar mini market, Allens the butchers, home-made bakery, Hong Kong Chinese take away, village pizza, fish & chip shop & ladies hair stylist. The Post Office is just a quarter of a mile from Parklands. Our local church St. Mary the Virgin is a fine old Norfolk flint church combining both Church of England and Roman Catholic services.

Heating: All have a large nighstore heater in the lounge and a smaller one in the main bedroom, £12 per week, where there are three heaters £15 (free during the winter period). Blue Pines, Charm and Sapphire have an extra heater in the hall, Blue Dell has a heater in the lounge and both bedrooms. All have free standing electric fires in the lounge plus extra heaters in other rooms. All have a wall-fire in the bathroom.

By Road:
On arrival in Great Yarmouth follow signs for the A149 signposted for Caister-on-Sea and onwards towards Hemsby. Hemsby village is located approximately 6 miles north of Great Yarmouth.
