Barnard House in Great Yarmouth has an enviable position on a leafy crescent in a quiet area of town. Our gold award winning, bed & breakfast is an ideal base to explore Great Yarmouth and the surrounding Norfolk countryside.
Our warm, personal welcome helps create an atmosphere of relaxation that reflects the Norfolk lifestyle and offers rest for the spirit and mind. It is an ideal location for either a one night business stay or a longer family holiday.
We have three delightful en-suite bedrooms, two double rooms and a twin bedroom with private bathroom. For your comfort our bedrooms have hospitality tray, colour TV, digital Freeview, DVD player, clock radio and hairdryer.
For lazy days we have a selction of books, games and magazines available. Relax in our spacious lounge with a roaring open fire in winter or the conservatory overlooking the garden in summer. Business guests are well provided for with WiFi , email and photocopying services available.
Breakfast using locally sourced ingredients is our speciality offering a wide choice of dishes, whether a hearty Full English with choice of eggs, a local delicacy Great Yarmouth Kipper or a lighter continental style breakfast with homemade preserves.

By Road:The region is easily accessible by road from all parts of the UK. Major trunk roads into Norfolk are the M11, A11, A12 and the A14 from London and the South-east, while the A47 and A14 serve the Midlands and the North. On entering Great Yarmouth from the A47 follow the signs to Caister, pass through 3 sets of traffic lights, Barnard House is directly on the right after the last set of lights off the Caister Road.By Public Transport:A number of bus operators provide services to the local area including National Express and First Bus. By Rail: There is a regular local service from Norwich to Great Yarmouth. With connecting trains from Norwich to London, Liverpool Street. Peterborough, Cambridge and Ely. We can collect you by prior arrangement.
