St. Georges Theatre Heritage Open Day

Come and visit St. George's Theatre, a beautiful Grade 1 listed building. The former Chapel built in 1715, has been transformed into a working Community Theatre, which celebrates and utilizes the unique features of the building.

An annual Pantomime is written and produced specifically for St. George's Theatre. The show incorporates all the areas of this heritage building, making them part of the action and set. This year to celebrate Creativity unwrapped, a behind the scenes film has been made to highlight how the show is made in the building. Visitors will be allowed access back stage to experience how the actors work within this unique venue.
