If Walls Could Talk - Elizabethan House Through the Centuries Talk - Guided Walk in Great Yarmouth, Great Yarmouth - Great Yarmouth

If Walls Could Talk

About

Join us at Great Yarmouth Town Hall for a fascinating talk with Great Yarmouth Heritage Guides.

Our speaker, Stuart Burgess will give an illustrated talk looking at the development of this amazing house, and its' owners and occupiers.

Developed by Benjamin Cooper in 1596, this historic building went through a number of alterations and additions. We will learn how the house was much larger than today, and is now concealed behind a Georgian Façade. We will explore some of its 23 residents and discover clues about the changes they made.

Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee on arrival, followed by the talk which will last approximately 50 minutes and the option to ask questions afterwards.

The nearest car park is located on King Street, just a short walk from the Town Hall. Charges apply.
