Grab a headset and hear the stories and history of the Waterways as you are guided around the wonderful 7 Acres of our Gardens.
Length of walk: Approx 60 minutes
Learn about the origins of Great Yarmouth as a holiday town and the Victorian beginnings of North Drive when you join our fully trained guide on this relaxed and informative walk through Great Yarmouth's famous Waterways.
The northern region of the town was host to some unusual and large entertainments which made way for hotels and residential buildings, the Waterways then adding their own special charm.
The Grade II listed gardens and canals, recently restored to their former glory, provide a delightful backdrop for stories about this unique holiday attraction, their post-WW1 beginnings and how the sympathetic restoration has been done.
