Freshly Greated illuminate Mag Square with exciting Lights Event
Glow Your Own Way is a free community-led event about wellbeing with exhilarating performances and fun activities

Freshly Geated will host their second edition of Glow Your Own Way Saturday 25 January 2025 from 4:30 to 8pm at Magdalen Square in Gorleston. This free community-led event will bring the community together to talk about mental health and wellbeing through powerful performances and fun activities. The Freshly Greated team has collected memories from the community that will provide an emotional journey to the audience and will be shared before, during and after the performances all across the venue.

The event will kick off with the performance of Spark!, a mesmerising street theatre show combining high impact drumming with kaleidoscopic colour lighting. Spark! will set a dramatic scene for the introduction of LED artists who will perform interpretations of different feelings identified in the colours of RED (love family, passion), BLUE (nostalgia, childhood, innocence) and GREEN (joy, nature, care). Younger audiences will have a special way to speak about their feelings through a hunt for Emotimons, funny creatures full of personality and also bursting with emotions themselves.

Also, a Dancing Fountain will turn Mag Square into a magical atmosphere for those who want a few moments of self-reflection or a special place to share with their family. The Dancing Fountain is a mesmerising live water show that combines music, lights and water ballet. Finally, fun activities will be also available indoors in both churches located in the community of Mag Square. The Methodist Church will be a calm and neuro-divergent space, and the public will be able to contemplate an LED Bird performance, join a relaxing crafting activity and much more. On the other hand, St. Mary Church will be a lively venue and will host UV Face Painting, a silent disco, LED Hula Hooping and an outdoor Street Art activity.
