The only way to experience the Norfolk Broads is from the water and at Herbert Woods we have a range of options available for Day Boat Hire.

If you are short on time our hourly Day Boats are a perfect choice, easy to operate and seating up to 8 people they are a great way to discover the Broads.

Alternatively spend a day touring the Broads at your leisure on board one of our Picnic Boats. Enjoy the forward sun deck and split sliding canopy during the summer months, whilst warm air heating will keep you warm and cosy throughout the winter. Each Picnic Boat seats a maximum of 10 people and includes a WC and fully equipped galley kitchen with gas, hob, fridge sink, crockery and utensils.

If you are feeling your energetic you can discover the tributaries and backwaters that cannot be easily accessed by cruiser or day boat on board our Canadian Canoes, paddling silently through the National Park is a great way to experience the diverse wildlife of the Broads. Each canoe seats up to 3 people.

Prior to departure on any of our craft you will be given a safety briefing and map of the surrounding area. Life jackets are provided for all passengers and are compulsory for children under 16. Pets welcome.
