If shoppiing is your favourite past-time, you can shop until you drop in Great Yarmouth, with loads of shops within easy walking distance. Several great shopping streets lead to Great Yarmouth town centre where high street names surround the market place on three sides. 

Shops line almost every street you'll take to get to the central market place and Market Gates Shopping Centre. The Rows, King Street, Northgate Street and Regent Street or pedestrianised Regent Road all lead to the centre of town. 

Pedestrianised areas for shopping include the market place, lower Regent Road which links the town centre to the seafront and is great for all sorts of traditional seaside goods and the Victoria Arcade, where Regent Road meets King Street.

As well as high-street name stores, Great Yarmouth town centre has a large number of independent, family-run shops, where you can find all sorts of things from fashion items to unusual gifts not easily available on the average high-street. 

Great Yarmouth Market Place is a lovely open space, with plenty of park benches where you can sit and watch the world go by. The covered market is surrounded by many high-street shops and department stores, including high street favourites WHSmith, River Island and Boots.

A larger open-air market takes place every Wednesday and Saturday year round, with an additional market visiting the town on Fridays in summer too.

Market Gates shopping centre is home to F Hinds, New Look, Pandora and Starbucks along with many other shops and cafés, and is conveniently located for all local buses.
